DIRECTIONS!

The 12 Hours of Northern Kettles race will be held at the Greenbush Trail head off the main parking lot at the Greenbush trail system.

The address is: N5854 Kettle Moraine Dr, Glenbeulah, WI (N43.45.070 W88.06.070)

It looks like the DNR was able to scan the trail map in, click HERE to see it.

There are a few other campgrounds around the area if you don't care to stay AT the trail (camping will be offered Friday and Saturday nights). Here are a few other places to check out:

Long Lake Recreation Area/Campground, N3450 Division Road, Cascade, WI
Mauthe Lake Recreation Area/Campground, N1490 County Road GGG, Campbellsport, WI

Race Time Quickly Approaches

May 22nd is quickly approaching.

Our course will be pretty much the same as last year. Loop 4 just isn't quite ready to race on so we will have to save that fun for next year.

Race headquarters will be setup at the shelter near the main lower parking lot. We will have someone available on Friday night from 6-8 PM in case you wish to take care of getting registration done. We will be setup starting at 6:30 AM race day for registration. (in the shelter)

Last check showed most of the group camp sites as being reserved. We have site number 1 reserved and are able to take on additional campers. A minimal fee of $5 per person per night will be all that is charged. Please check in at the shelter for more information. This will be mainly for tents but we should be able to fit a few "wheeled" campers in as well. We just need to keep the vehicles parked on the gravel area of the site. Overflow parking can be done easily on the main parking lot.

Please remember that this location is a Wisconsin State Park. Admission stickers will be needed for vehicles and trail passes required for racing/riding. We will have passes available for purchase and this will also be...yes you guessed it...found in the shelter!

I do not have official confirmation at this point but racers can likely look forward to some type of delicious post race grub provided by Brittany Nigh.

Greenbush Update

Last Saturday a number of mountain bike enthusiasts assembled to work on the Greenbush Trails.  The two way traffic between loops 1 & 2 were separated (with approval from the DNR) so now you're free to take those trails at "high speed" without fear of encountering an on-coming rider.

Each Saturday through April we will be working on the trail system with the hopes of completeing loop 4 in time for the 12 hours of Northern Kettles.  If you're interested in helping out, even if it's just for a day or even an hour, please join us in the main parking lot at 8:00am Saturday mornings.

We're working to make your trails a better place to ride.
